Proviso East High School is excited to announce our Summer Reading 2025 Program!  All Pirates will be required to read one book over the summer and complete ten (10) reading journals for their English teacher to begin first semester in the Fall.  See the Summer Reading Assignment and Suggested Summer Reading Books on this page for further details.

Incoming Freshmen can check out a book from Proviso using the link or QR Code below up until May 1st - Deliveries will be made to middle schools during the month of May.

Rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors at Proviso East can check out a book in May during a Book Fair to be held in the Proviso East Library during ELA classes.  Dates and times will be shared soon for teacher sign up.
